In my opinion, the Internet was the most important invention so far. Being able to connect to anyone in the world caused great leaps in are evolution. The Internet is a information Highway were you can learn anything in a matter of seconds. With the rise of web 2.0 you can find a app or a web site that can simplify your entire life. You can also use it for entertainment. With sites like Youtube.com, you have access to more enjoyable videos then you can possibly watch in one life time. Although i would not recommend it for a research paper, Wikipedia offers constantly updated information on every subject that you can think of. The Internet is constantly evolving, i can not wait to see what the next breakthrough will be.

The Internet is like the worlds largest city. It offers vast libraries of information. It is also the worlds largest cultural hot spot, offering the best of each culture to be on display. But, like any city, it has its bad sections of the town. With viruses just a click away from your computer, its a wounder anyone can feel safe. Free applications like Firefox and AVG act like the police in protecting you from these harmful thugs. Like any busiling town, there are tons of shops to choose from. Sites like Amazon.com can offer a present for anyone on your Christmas list. Craigslist and Ebay are global Flea Markets were you can sell and buy anything. Even with its faults, the Internet is the worlds most prominent metropolis.

The Internet changed completely changed are way of communication. With free resources like Gmail, we are having a revolution in the Emailing world. Free services like skype can bring a homesick soldier closer to home with video chat. Although it seems mundane to us, this can be a lifeline for one are honorable soldiers. With emerging technologies like Twitter you can keep in touch with all your friends at once. It lets you post a miniature blog updating your status seamlessly. With websites like Facebook, you can connect to your friends or make new ones instantly. This lets you share stories, chat, and even play games with each other. With all these technologies, you can have friends all over the world.

The Internet can also help you earn money. Working from home, you can design web pages for small businesses. Having a web page for your business will allow you to promote your site better then any billboard can. It will also show that your business is ready for the future and can support you in all of your technological needs. This will assure you plenty of customers. You can also sell things for people on ebay and make a killing. If you want to get famous you can post a catchy video on the Internet. If it gets enough views you will go down into Internet stardom. With all these possibilities it will be hard to something you cant do on the Internet.

The Internet is very new. With all this to offer so young in its life its going to be exiting to see what will happen next. The Internet is used by almost everybody on a day to day basis. It is becoming the most popular way to get your news and enjoyment. As it has been said before, the Internet is a series of tubes. fallowing one can lead to 5 other tubes. There is virtually an infinite amount of things to see on the web. It is easy to get lost in hours of enjoyment and learning new things.
